text: 19th To Tapuimukh. Kolkul village close by was assessed 15 years ago at a punitive rate for moving to new site. They can be treated as a permanently established village now and may pay at the normal rate of Rs.2/-. They are anxious to have help to make terraces on some very suitable flat land in the valley. The chief presented me with a wild cat kitten, picked up on a path four days before, and perfectly friendly and unafraid of man.
