text: 8th. To Kilomi- Heard a number of cases- There is some terraced land here called Mukuluks which was irrigated by Government at a cost of Rs.300/-, spent mostly on making a long and difficult water channel. This channel has become checked by slips and the fields have in consequence been abandoned. I have warned Kilomi that unless the slips are cleared and the channel put in a fit state for irrigation again by January 15th 1935, which will give plenty of time to get the fields fit for cultivation that year, I shall confiscate the land for the benefit of persons who have no terraces, probably for Khuivi village which is almost without irrigable land. Kilomi were warned last year but did nothing. I have told them there will be no further warning.
