text: 7th. To Laruri. - About 8 miles. Met Bor on the way and in the evening Capt. Kingdon Ward arrived. The land on which Inspection Bungalow is built was never paid for. I valued it for acquisition purposes as Rs. 5/- for the Inspection Bungalow and the land between the Inspection Bungalow and the river, with its trees. 8th. Halted Laruri. Capt. Hartland arrived with 50 rifles. Reassessed the village house tax. Laruri apply for help to make terraces for wet rice.
