text: 21st. To Kotesimi panikhets in the Tezarr valley - about 10 miles, going along the bridle path till below Tezatsimi and then up through that village and down into the valley behind.
text: There is a damaged culvert in the 69th mile. The muharer said that Kizare had been given a contract for it but had not done it. Kizare however said that they had done it and were promised Rs.3/- for it and that it was finished three months ago, and has been deliberately damaged since; they had another contract as well which had to be measured. (Note: That was finished three months ago but the muharir never told them that the [] was coming out so they have not been able to get that measured either.) This muharir does not know the numbers of his miles.
text: There was a violent storm of wind at night which blew down the field house my servants were sleeping in and nearly blew away my tent. Luckily there was little rain with it.
