text: Fine & warm, but with cool breeze. Hardly any life to be seen. Off Cape San Antonio (?) [sic] c. 11 a.m.

text: Arrived at Marseilles at 10 a.m. & went into No. 5 Dock. Stayed on board for lunch. Went with P.S. Quarry (of the Indian Police) and his niece, Miss M.A. Stewart, to the Colonial Exhibition, parts of which were interesting & well arranged. Returned on board for dinner.
