text: Dear Balfour,
text: Very many thanks for your letter. It is just as hard for me as for you to realize that you are in the Naga Hills at last! Now I long to get you away from the comparative civilization of Kohima. We meet somewhere about Oct.1922nd at Aichisagami I take it, the date that Hutton has fixed to kick off on the show against Melahomi and Co., if they don't pay. Then I have some things here for the Pitt-Rivers, but I want you to see them before they are packed up... We ought to see plenty of birds, but whether I shall know their names is another matter. Animals are harder to come across, but this country is not quite so "eaten up" as that of the Angamis and Semas...
text: Yours ever,
