text: So hurriedly did I answer your letter that I am afraid I forgot to reply to your questions. LAZEMI and LOZAMI are the same place (one of the wretched places with unsettled spelling). It is the big Sema village on the edge of the Rengma country. SIROMI=SEROMI. I always hear the word as SIROMI. The best spelling to take for both places is that given by Hutton on the map of his Sema book. I haven't got a copy in the house with me here, I fear...
