Heard Tukomis - Khovekhu and Lumakami etc. all day against Nikiye dobashi who admits nearly everything and says he cannot restrain the Tukomi part of his village. But the complainants say Nikiye was a leader in the looting. A list made of the loot and Nekiye goes back with Injevi and the complainants to restore daos and spears and pay the price of pigs and dogs killed. Sitimi village, Nikiye's great friends, also helped. |

(28) A trespassing buffalo is also confined in Nikiye's village. One Tukomi was kept tied up for many days in Nikiye's village and set free on ransom. This ransom is to be restored by Nikiye. A fine of Rs30/- was imposed by Nikiye on Satuho for jungle burning by a roadside fire on Tatsumi and Merumi land, but Tatsumi never got it. Nikiye says he gave it to his dead friend Kohoto - Injevi is seeing about this on going back with Nikiye. |

Tekhubama complains against Nakrama about grazing land - I will take it on my way back. The fields are mixed up and hence the trouble. |
