text: Halted. Jeff went fishing early. Followed him upstream by path over bamboo bridges, but only saw him in distance. Returned to Lex in basha, sat about with her till noon, had elevenses (oranges & chocolate) & then both went to look for Jeff. Didn't find him, & returned. Jeff turned up, unsuccessful, at 2. Curry lunch - Jeff's yesterday's catch. Jeff slept in p.m. Lex & I had inspected raft building,
