text: (28) Hangrum. March 13th.
text: The Nenglo perao was so Katcha I decided to move on, and so we marched. It rained. The road went up and down & round somewhat acrobatically in fine, though damp & impenetrable jungle. Reception committee met us some way out. Hangrum situation splendid, on saddle backed by high peak, with cleft like crater on E. face and cloud hanging in the dense jungle which clung to it somehow. New morung being built to N. of village. Went right through village to perao, or rather bungalow. Weather still beastly, with intermittant rain. Fine views over Manipur when the clouds allowed one to see anything; the Liwapokpi hump very visible.
