text: To dream of eating sugar or anything similar means the dreamer will have a cold in the head.
text: To dream of being bitten by a snake or leech means the dreamer will suffer some injury.
text: To dream of walking in mud or heavy jungle or in the dark means trouble and difficulty; so does rain.
text: To see a train, gun or european means the dreamer is suffering from hamui-hera - the weight of being too much talked about; to see a tiger means the same thing (M.).
text: To see fire two or three nights running means injury to the eyes or blindness (M.).
text: To dream of a lot of fish or a full stream after looking for that year's jhum-site is an omen of bumper crops; so is a dream of a full meal and full stomach (H.).
text: To dream of a hornbill's tail feather on that occasion means the crop will fail (H.).
text: If diarrhoea or weeping enter into a dream then the jhum chosen will be abandoned for another site.
text: To dream of an an earthquake foretells sickness.
text: To dream of cutting a short bamboo wood or cane means an early death for the dreamer; a long one, long life.
text: If a man dreams of a spear-head while his wife is pregnant, the child will be a boy; if a spear-butt, a girl.
text: To dream of a cloth getting burnt at the fire means a death in the house.
text: To dream that someone standing behind you has taken you by the hair and pulled you right up on tip-toe foretells great riches.
text: Dreams are particularly unreliable at the turn of the seasons, e.g. the change of the rains into the cold weather, and may or may not mean anything.
