text: 4. Hukuoa.
text: This is a platform of stone, circular in plan and topped with flat slabs. The stones which make it are set together rather after the fashion of dry stone walling, but horizontally.
text: One example at Laisong (outside the upper dekachang) has leaning against it a crude stone figure of a nude woman. This was carved and put up by the young men of the village round about 1910, in accordance with the man's dying wish, to show future generations what kind of girls he loved in his youth (2/41/33A; 5/41/12A, 13A; 7/40/18A, 19A)
