text: All that had to be done now was the putting up of the mark & we started early to do so. I took another round of the horizontal principal angles & then put up [instruments] it was not at all clear & my distant peaks of previous day were nearly all obscured by haze. The station was finished by 11 o/c & we descended. Had bkfast at the old camp & walked leisurely down the hill into Kigwema collecting ferns & shells in likely places. Took 2 sketches of the moraine from points just before getting to the village & no doubt exists in my mind as to some sort of glacial origin. [sketch:
