text: Saturday 15th.
text: Started camp off and wrote letter. Breakfast at 12. Needham, Ogle & I rode out to the Camp at Baru jam at 1.25 got there 4. Waited for coolies.
text: Sunday 16th.
text: (Fine. Threatened rain in evening. It did not fall.)
text: Marched early to Bhandari. Breakfast there. Needham left us to return to Golaghat and we went on to the Bagti river. Camped there.
text: Monday 17th.
text: (Very fine.)
text: Got camp off very early and reached Doiang river about 10. Found Col. Tulloch and his camp there. Halted there also. Wrote letters etc. Had excellent bathe in river with [] etc. till late.
