text: Went out early to Walter Butler's. Talked over matters. Saw his new bungalow, lines, etc. Breakfasted with him. Looked over correspondence of Butler's & returned in evening. ie about 5. Found dak just in.

text: Principally employed in correspondence and making arrangements for a start tomorrow. Needham came in in the afternoon.
