text: (Fine day but hazy again. Height of camp 4000/3800 = 3950. Max in shade 70o. Min 40o.)
text: Up early. Writing and making out programme and tracing in C.C. After breakfast wrote again. Sent out man to flash from Chingpoi Hill with heliotrope I had made out of our looking glasses. They succeeded. After dinner the Kukis came up to sing and dance. Wrote long official to Keatinge and copied it etc. Bed about 1 a.m.
