Up early. Nagas from Sakomi came down and showed us the way up to Kukianagami where we arrived about 9. Did a little work and then started for the river below which after a good deal of up and down we reached at 12.30 and had breakfast. Mounting up (52) to Satakahenogami. At Momi halted a little while for rice, which was brought with great gesticulation, the smaller the quantity the more violent the gestures expressive of liberality. Went on to Hovekhenagami and as it was getting late and I found a plentiful supply of water in some new jooms, I decided to halt there for the night and we did. |
