text: Up about 7.30 having taken a dose of medicine. Wrote letters which Ogle and Hinde copied all day.

text: (Fine all day. Rumblings of thunder. Camp at 3 p.m. 5060/4750 M = 4880. ditto at 6 p.m. 5060/4830 M = 4955. Min = 47o.)

text: (Fine but hazy. Mark at 8 a.m. 6710/6500 M = 6605. Max = 77o shade. Min = 44o.)
text: Up at 5. Went up to mark and observed a little. Back in camp at 8.30. Bath. Correspondence etc. until half past p.m. Made sketch of woman and boy.
