text: 21st January, Friday. Having crossed the Kolleanee and passed close under the villages of Pookhong and Bordekka we encamped in the village of Lethee formerly called Kohung having gone over a distance of about 8 miles.
text: [4] Notwithstanding the care I took thoroughly to explain that I wished the Gaonboorahs to meet me in this village in order that they might elect a mouzadar I find that my orders have been misunderstood and the Gaonboorahs of the few villages I have not had time to visit have proceeded to Athooga's village to await my arrival there so I have sent off a man to recall them and shall go on to-morrow to Moorfoolanee where I hope every thing will be satisfactorily arranged.
