text: 13th March, Sunday. We had a very severe thunder storm last night accompanied by torrents of rain and showers of hail which have lasted on and off the whole day making it impossible for us to continue our march, and our small rough huts have of course leaked like sieves making us all very wet and uncomfortable. I have fortunately succeeded in keeping my bed pretty dry but that's about all.
