| text: | 14th March, Monday. Passing through Sarramah which was only about 3 miles off, I moved camp to Heneemah a distance of I think about 7 miles but I can't guess with any certainty as I was too weak to walk and had again to be carried the whole way. In the evening a party of Kookies came in from Jelpee, a village about 6 miles due west of this and said that hearing I was unwell they had come to see if they could do any thing for me. I also received a visit from the chiefs of Doopemah (a small village about 3 miles of) who went away much pleased when I informed them they were British Subjects. |
