text: 28th December. Leaving Tehamah very early this morning, I crossed over the main range of the Burrail mountain and encamped on the rice terraces on the right bank of the Zullo, one of the feeders of the Zupoo, just below Paplongmai. I found six Manipuri sepoys encamped at the village who informed me that they had come on to arrange for obtaining supplies for the escort accompanying the Political Agent of Manipur regarding whose movements, however, they could give me very little information.
