| text: | In all these Naga villages of the interior there is, at each of the fortified entrances, a large building well raised as a look- out or watch-house in which a band of young men keep guard at night. They have huge drums composed of trees hollowed out, which are sounded to give the alarm, and they have also fire signals. |
