27. The trans-Dikhu tribes, as noted in last year's report, are independent and as previously, no attempt was made during the year under review to interfere in any way in their internal affairs. Our relations with them have been satisfactory. |

Naked tribe. Beginning at the extreme north, we come on the naked tribe, two villages of which Tamlu and Resong are included in the Mokokchang subdivision. Our relations with this tribe have continued to be friendly. The village of Tangsa which was burnt by Mr. Porteous in March 1889, has been rebuilt during the year. |
