conflict between morung and household for labour |
text: |
A conflict between the interests of the two units, family and morung community, could arise only if there was too heavy a demand for work for the morung. If tasks such as the building of a new morung were unduly extended and a morung was short of able-bodied men, the work on individual fields might suffer, but community tasks were usually undertaken during the slack periods of the agricultural year. |
