text: 10. On the Northern Nzemi-Angami tribal border Nzemi villagers have for many generations seen a wet-rice terrace system carried on most efficiently and with great success. Only three Nzemi villages have adopted it, and it has not spread from these. This also suggests that the Nzemi have a deep-rooted resistance to the system.
