25.2.1606 memo sold unto Moses Rowton 6a of wood to begin at the hither end of Tayne path and so to go to a staddle of hardbear there marked toward the sandpit in the bottom in breadth so along Tayne path to take his 6a together reserving six hundred of good ashen poles that is of every acre one hundred and all the old staddles and sixteen young staddles of every acre to have all his wood except some tufts of prye wood by may day next taken out of the wood and those tufts to be had of by the latter end of may for this he is to pay 20li viz upon thursday come sennight 5li at our lady day or a fortnight after 10li and the other 5li at may day whereof received in part of payment the said 25.2.1606 6d witnesses mr Parkinson and my brother Thos Harlakenden
