2.8.1628 Wm Tiffin by indenture for a competent jointure for Eliz his wife in consideration of 600li in hand paid did give grant and confirm unto Francis Sidnior Thos Harlakenden and Rich Harlakenden the younger brother to the said Eliz all that his manor of Colne Wake alias Wakes Colne with appurtenances situate in divers towns there in the county of Essex and the advowson of the church of Colne Wake and all that capital messuage called Wakes Hall with all houses lands etc thereunto belonging and the court leet with the view of frankpledge with appurtenances and all rents etc and one watermill with appurtenances and all other his land thereunto belonging or reputed etc excepting certain fields called Priestfields with a wood called the Acre Wood and divers other exceptions vide the deed etc memo the abovesaid deed was delivered in and a new made to Francis Sidnior Thos Harlakenden Rich Harlakenden junior and Wm Lambe there being a fault in the other I promised him that whereas I had two leases past over by his uncles Everlin# and Andrewe Jewur# one for seven years the other for six years to come out of two parts of the manor of Wakes Hall which are yet in being that after the sale of Westey Wood and agreement for Green's lease thereof I would release all my right in all the rest of the land that is out of his wifes jointure and after her decease if she died without issue I would deliver in all my right in the leases this release I have made to him
