to this court came Jn Parker and brought here into full court a certain warranty under the seal of the lord of the said manor and signed with the proper writing of the said lord and sought for the said warranty to be enrolled in the roll of this court and it was granted to him and the tenor of the same said warranty in these words be it known to all men by these presents that I Rich Harlakenden esq lord of the said manor of Colne Priory have licensed and by these presents do give and grant liberty and licence to Jn Parker at any time or times during the term of two years next coming after the date hereof to fell stub or cut down twenty pollingers of oak ash or elm and four young upright timber trees of elm now standing or growing upon the customary lands of the said Jn Parker called Dagenhalehill and Priestlande holden of my said manor by copy of court roll and the same trees and pollingers felled stubbed or cut down at any time or times within the said term of two years to convert employ and dispose of at his will and pleasure and these presents enrolled at the next court to be holden for my said manor shall be his sufficient warranty in that behalf in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 17.1.5Jas1 Rich Harlakinden
