whereas at a court here held thursday in easter week being 20.4.1598 Margt Pullen widow was admitted tenant of the lord for herself and her heirs to one croft of land lying next to Ten Acres late in the tenure of Jn Hassette called Hassetts containing 2a5r of land held by the rent of 2s as by copy of a roll of the said court shown in court now to this court came the aforesaid Margt and in full and open court surrendered the aforesaid croft of land with appurtenances into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward to the use and behoof of Margt Pullen herself and her assigns during the whole term of the natural life of Margt herself the remainder thereof after her decease to Oseas Tiler and his heirs who the same said Margt and Oseas present in court sought from the lord admittance thereof to whom the lord by his aforesaid steward granted thereof seisin to have to the same said Margt and her assigns for and during the whole term of the natural lifetime of Margt herself the remainder thereof to the said Oseas and his heirs forever to hold from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents and services thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord their fine as is shown in the margin and made fealty to the lord and were admitted thereof tenants of the lord and afterwards into the same said court came the aforesaid Oseas Tiler and in full and open court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward his said remainder of and in the aforesaid croft of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the aforesaid Rich Harlakinden and his heirs forever
