and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Wm Nevill gentleman customary tenant of this manor after the last general court and before this court viz 3.12.1635 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Edm Turner instead of the bailiff in the presence of Edw Cressner and Ambrose Waller two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying according to the custom of the aforesaid manor one half of a croft of land called Tredgols alias Glasiers and one parcel of land lying on the western edge of the land called Brockhole in the tenure of Wm Nicholls or his assigns and a croft of land called Whitecroft and a croft of land called Beanefeild Wellfeild and Bamble and a croft of land called Murdons Croft and a garden called Buggs Garden and also another parcel of pasture now enclosed into two pastures and upon one of them a certain building the tile kiln and also to one pasture of land with appurtenances called Sturpitts and also one messuage or tenement with garden adjoining upon Doddingpollhoe and one other messuage or tenement called Wanstaves and one croft called Howletts and one croft of land with an aldercarr called Smethis and also one croft of land with appurtenances sometime of Jn Sexton's and also one messuage or tenement sometime of Rich Hoe and a pasture upon the Hoe late of Jn Wallys and also one garden called Hegges Garden with a certain lane lying next to the lands late of the Earl of Oxford called Bridgemans and a croft of the lord's land called Teynter Croft with appurtenances to the use and intention of his last will and afterwards and before this court he died and that Rich Nevill is his son and next heir under age
