whereas at a view with court here held 4.4.1617 Susan March now wife of Jn Overall was admitted tenant of the lord for herself and her heirs to two crofts of land now built on called Seven Acres lying together between a lane leading towards Bowerfeild on one part and lands called Slowcrofts and Debenhams on the other part and to one pightle containing 2r lying along the king's highway next to and adjoining Burton Field by name three crofts of land containing 5a more or less as by a roll of the aforesaid court it appears now to this court came the aforesaid Jn Overall and Susan his wife Susan herself solely and secretly examined in open court by the aforesaid steward as is the custom and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid croft and parcel of the aforesaid lands and other premises with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos Harvy of Great Tey yeoman his heirs and assigns forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid croft of land and other premises with appurtenances to the aforesaid Thos Harvy his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by fealty suit of court and the rent of 5s per annum and by all other services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
