and furthermore to this court came Wm Hutt gentleman who held for himself and his heirs two crofts of land lying between a croft of land sometime in the tenure of Ludovic Jegon called and lands called Bromefeild with appurtenances containing by estimation 11a more or less held thereof as by the metes and bounds divided and shown as by a roll of court bearing the date 16.4.1623 it is clearly shown and in full and open court he surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the aforesaid crofts with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Geo Bentall and Ann his wife and the heirs and assigns of the said Geo and Ann forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid crofts of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Geo and Ann their heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty and thus they were admitted tenants thereof
