and afterwards in this same court and the court sitting came the aforesaid Jn Middleton and by and in consideration of 12li4s of legal money of England paid in the aforesaid court to Jn Middleton by Wm Baker grandfather on behalf of the mother of Frances King and Alice King daughters and coheirs of the said Thos King surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of the said Frances and Alice and their heirs forever to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Frances and Alice and their heirs forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine but fealty was respited because they were under age
