and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that Roger Buers who held for himself and his heirs a certain cottage with yard and orchard pertaining as by a roll of court bearing the date 29.3.1627 it appears after the last court died thus seised thereof and that Xoph Buers is his son and heir and aged twenty one years and more who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid cottage with other premises with appurtenances to the aforesaid Xoph Buers and his heirs forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
