whereas at a court here held 18.12.1641 Hen Aymes was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to 7a of land more or less with appurtenances called Little Bradfeild late of Jas Pennock as by a roll of the aforesaid court it appears now to this court came the aforesaid Hen Aymes and surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Hannah Hunt daughter of Joseph Hunt of Great Tey yeoman and her heirs who present in court humbly sought admittance to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid parcel of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Hannah Hunt and her heirs from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and he gave to the lord for a fine but fealty was respited and because the aforesaid Hannah was under age viz 6yrs or thereabouts therefore at the humble petition of the said Joseph Hunt custody of the aforesaid lands was granted and by the steward of the aforesaid court delivered by the rod to the aforesaid Joseph Hunt for himself and his assigns until Hannah should reach her full age returning thereunto an account at the said full age and for such custody gave to the lord for a fine
