whereas at a court here held 28.12.1638 Jn Munt was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to one cottage called Sadlers with a yard or piece of land adjoining on the southern part containing by estimation 15p by the rent of 4d and whereas at a court here held 1.10.1646 the aforesaid Jn Munt was admitted tenant of the lord for himself and his heirs to 16p of land or yard more or less parcel of Sadlers for the rent of 6d as by a roll of the aforesaid court it appears now at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Jn Munt after the last court died thus seised thereof without heirs of his body upon which came here into court Dan Munt and gave to the court here information that he himself is a blood relative and heir of the said Jn Munt viz son and heir of Edm Munt brother of Rich Munt father of the said Jn and humbly sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold to himself and his heirs from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs separately thereunto belonging and accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty and was admitted thereof tenant saving thereof the rights for each and if etc
