and furthermore at this court it is shown by the homage that the aforesaid Jn Munt who held for himself and his heirs two crofts or parcels of customary land called Milfeild containing by estimation 3a more or less lying in White Colne after the last court viz 3.10.last surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Wm Adams instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Ambrose Waller and Hen Cony two customary tenants of the aforesaid manor the same testifying etc the aforesaid two crofts or parcels of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos Chrismas his heirs and assigns who present in court humbly sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid croft or parcel of land with appurtenances to the aforesaid Thos Chrismas and his heirs from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and afterwards in the same said court and the court sitting came the aforesaid Thos Chrismas and in full court surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of the aforesaid steward the aforesaid croft or parcel of land with appurtenances to the use and behoof of Thos himself and Ann his wife and the heirs and assigns of the said Thos forever who present in court humbly sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the premises to the said Thos and Ann and the heirs and assigns of the said Thos from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and they gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
