whereas at a court here held 6.10.1610 Edw Cressner gentleman was admitted tenant for himself and the heirs of his body legitimately procreated to one aldergrove called Tilekilne Fen lying between a croft called Wellcrofte on one part one head thereof abutting upon a parcel of Lowefeild and the other head upon the king's highway at The Tilekeln on the other part as it is divided by the metes and bounds as by a roll of the aforesaid court it appears and whereas at the last court here held for the aforesaid manor 16.1.last it was shown by the homage that the aforesaid Edw after the then last court died thus seised thereof and that Geo Cressener gentleman is his son and heir now to this court came the aforesaid Geo Cressener and humbly sought admittance to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid aldergrove with appurtenances to the aforesaid Geo Cressener and the heirs of his body procreated from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine and made fealty
