Corn Brownson his surrender to the use of his will | at this court it was presented by the homage that Corn Brownson customary tenant of the said manor since the last court that is to say 19.1.1657 did surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of Giles Crow instead of the bailiff and in the presence of Ralph Josselin and Hen Hutton two customary tenants of the said manor the same witnessing all that his customary cottage and garden called Humfreyes abutting on the highway leading towards Much Tey and one croft of land called Chalkney Croft abutting upon the said cottage or by what other name or names they are known or called to the only use and behoof of his last will and testament and afterwards and before this court the said Corn died which premises Martha his wife doth hold for the term of her life |
