at this court Wm Bridge did come and did surrender into the hands of the lord of the said manor by the hands of his said steward one croft of customary land called The Bushett containing 2a more or less lying by Bromefield with the appurtenances to the use of Thos Osborne and of his heirs and assigns forever which premises after a recovery had among other things the said Wm did at this court take to him his heirs and assigns and thereupon the said Thos being present in court desired to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said croft of land with the appurtenances to the said Thos his heirs and assigns forever of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due and accustomed and he gave to the lord for his fine
