Edm Turnor Perries at this court it was presented by the homage that Margt Turnor who held to her and her heirs by survivorship after the death of Joan Turnor her sister one messuage lately built called Perries situate upon Colnford Hill in Earls Colne with the appurtenances died thereof so seised and that Edm Turnor son and heir of Edm Turnor brother of the said Margt is her cousin and heir which premises the said Margt and Joan did take to them and their heirs at a court held for the said manor 9.4.1629 and thereupon the said Edm the son being present in court desired to be admitted tenant to the same to whom the lord of the said manor by his said steward did grant and deliver thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the said messuage with the appurtenances to the said Edm his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the said manor by the rents and services due and he gave to the lord for his fine but his fealty is respited because he is within age
