Jn Hayward to Sadlers | and afterwards into the same said court and in open court the aforesaid Jn Underwood by the rod surrendered into he hands of the lord by the hands of his aforesaid steward the aforesaid messuage and garden with appurtenances called Sadlers to the use and behoof of Jn Hayward of Colchester carpenter his heirs and assigns to whom the same said Jn Hayward by the hands of Mich Hayward his attorney and deputy in this part seeking this the lord by the aforesaid steward granted and delivered thereof seisin by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid messuage and garden with appurtenances to the aforesaid Jn Hayward his heirs and assigns forever from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc |
