remaining widow of
Guy Hutton
was admitted for her lifetime as long as she lives unmarried to one cottage and garden with appurtenances called
Boxtead
in Earls Colne in her proper occupation according to the disposal and the true intentions of the last will of
Hen Hutton
senior now to this court came
Hen Hutton
grandson
and heir of the said
Hen
viz son and heir of the aforesaid
Guy Hutton
the eldest born son of the aforesaid
Hen
senior and humbly sought from the lord admission for himself as tenant of the premises to the reversion or remainder of the aforesaid messuage and other premises to whom the lord by his steward granted and delivered seisin of the reversion of the premises by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid reversion of the premises after the death or marriage of the aforesaid widow to the aforesaid

his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the rents services and customs thereunto belonging and by right accustomed and he gave to the lord for a fine etc |
