admission of Ann Bond | at this court the lord of this manor for a resumption and increase of rent to the aforesaid manor granted by his steward by the rod all that cottage or tenement with a yard pertaining to the same late in the occupation of Nath Wade and now in the occupation of Jn Bond to the use and behoof of Ann now wife of the aforesaid Jn Bond her heirs and assigns forever who present here in court humbly sought from the lord admittance for herself to the premises to whom the lord by the aforesaid steward delivered seisin thereof by the rod to have and to hold the aforesaid cottage with appurtenances to the aforesaid Ann Bond her heirs and assigns from the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the aforesaid manor by the annual rent of 12d fealty suit of court and by paying a reasonable fine upon admittance for each tenure of premises henceforward acknowledged upon the condition that the aforesaid Jn Bond and Ann his wife and the heirs of the aforesaid Ann within three months next following as her proper obligation and care should erect one adequate fence with pales 5ft in length enclosing thereof the aforesaid tenement against the lands of the lord of this manor and from time to time repairing the same said fence and for such a grant the aforesaid Ann gave to the lord for a fine etc |
