at a court here held 17.1.1655 Kellam Collins was admitted to himself and his heirs to one grove or wooded place called Colnegrove alias Colegrove lying in Halsted and containing by estimation 1a2r more or less upon which a tenement was built now ruinous and the said Kellam before this time died so seised and after the death of the said Kellam none was admitted tenant after three proclamations made in court etc and the tenement etc was seised into the lord's hands now at this court Robt Fluen of the city of London ships carpenter by Jacob Fullerton his attorney humbly petitioned of the lord to release the forfeiture upon which the lord of this manor for the recontinuation of ancient rents and services agreed of his grace and by the steward granted out of his hands to the said Robt Fluen by his said attorney seisin by the rod to have and to hold the tenement and premises aforesaid to the said Robt Fluen his heirs and assigns of the lord by the rod at the will of the lord according to the custom of the manor by the rents and services and customs due and of right accustomed and for this he gave to the lord for fine etc
