at this court it appears to the homage that Dan Grimston 10.4.1679 surrendered into the hands of the lord by the hands of Jn Browning instead of the bailiff in the presence of Wm Brewer gentleman and Robt Newton two customary tenants etc all his customary lands and tenements held of this manor to the use of his last will etc
