and because the said Wm Stebbing is under age that is aged 16yrs therefore the lord of this manor by the steward granted custody of the lands aforesaid in three parts divided to Jn Merrington and delivered him possession by the rod to have the lands and premises aforesaid to the said Jn Merrington and his assigns until the said Wm Stebbing reaches the age of twenty one years without waste etc and for the custody gave the lord for fine etc
