at a court held 9.3.1678 Mary Bullock was admitted to one close of land situate in Earls Colne called Byrchetts containing 2a now at this court she came and surrendered the premises to the use of Dan Rogers of Earls Colne husbandman his heirs and assigns forever who present was admitted etc and gave fine and fealty respited
