whereas at a court held 11.12.1677 Dan Nightingale and Dorothy his wife were admitted to them for their lives the remainder to Mehitabel their daughter and her heirs if she survive the said Dan and Dorothy to one cottage with garden adjoining once Wayte's lying next to the vicarage of Earls Colne now at this court it appeared that the said Dan died after the last court and that the said Dorothy is also dead and upon this came the said Mehitabel now wife of Gabriel Rule and was admitted to have to her heirs and assigns etc and gave fine and fealty respited etc
